Hvernig á að tengjast við HA netið með VPN - Windows XP
Hægt er að tengjast netkerfi Háskólans með VPN (Virtual Private Network) og fá þannig aðgang að gagnasöfnum líkt og tölvur sem
tengdar eru staðarneti Háskólans.

Nauðsynlegt er að setja upp VPN innhringingu á hverri tölvu fyrir sig og tengja í hvert
skipti sem nota á tenginuna og aftengja að notkun lokinni.
- Smella á Start hnappinn
- Smella á Control Panel undir Settings
- Smella á Network Connections (Network Connections glugginn opnast)
- Smella á Create a new connection (New Connections Wizard glugginn opnast)
- Smella á Next >
- Velja Connect to the network at my workplace
- Smella á Next >
- Velja Virtual Private Network connection
- Smella á Next>
- Velja nafn á tenginguna (t.d. HA eða Háskólinn)
- Smella á Next>
- Skrifa vpn.unak.is
- Smella á Next>
- Smella á Finish (New Connections Wizard glugginn lokast og Connect glugginn opnast)
- Skrifa þitt notendanafn og lykilorð í viðeigandi reiti (sama notendanafn og lykilorð eins og inn í póstinn)
