The impact of technology in nursing education

Dear colleagues,

It is a true pleasure to invite you to attend the 7th Nordic Forum for Nurse Educators, which for the first time, is hosted in Akureyri, Iceland. The conference will take place from November 11 to November 13, 2024, at the University of Akureyri.

 

The 7th Nordic Forum for Nurse Educators will be organized by the School of Health, Business and Natural Sciences at the University of Akureyri in collaboration with Akureyri Hospital and NORDPLUS MEDICO – network (Nordic Medication Educators Network).

The core of this event is to share innovations, ideas and experiences of educators and discuss the latest innovations and developments in health care education relating to the use of technology. This event is targeted to educators, teachers and researchers working in professional education in different types of institutes, clinical education, and academia. We do not wish to limit the event only for those working with nursing education. There is so much common interest, good practices, and innovations to be shared between educators from different healthcare fields.

The conference will not be streamed online, we hope to see you in Akureyri, Iceland. The aim of the conference will be to introduce different perspectives on undergraduate and postgraduate health care education. Furthermore, learning environments, pedagogics, and professional development of health care educators. To meet up with dear colleagues and foster future collaboration opportunities and network in the Nordic and Baltic regions of Europe. Colleagues from the Nordic or Baltic countries are welcome amongst others interested.

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English. Please make sure that abstracts are submitted online only.

  • A short description of the aim of the research/project
  • Description of methods, results, and conclusion
  • About 250-300 words

Information regarding acceptance of abstract presentations or poster presentations will be sent to the authors no later than 15th June 2024.
