Applicants for the position of Director of the Stefansson arctic institute

The University of Akureyri recently announced a job opening for the position of Director of the Stefansson arctic institute. The application deadline for the position was January 15. Four applications were received, and the candidates are as follows:

• Christina Goethel – Professor for publication purposes
• Sigríður Kristjánsdóttir – Executive Director
• Sölmundur Karl Pálsson – Adjunct Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Anthropology, University of Manitoba
