Opening hours around Christmas and New Year

The University of Akureyri will be closed on the following dates:

• Tuesday, 24 December
• Friday, 27 December
• Tuesday, 31 December

On Monday, 30 December, online services will be available through the office of the School of Health, Business and Natural Sciences. The following units will be open on campus from 10:00 to 14:00. Outside these hours, online services will remain available during regular service times:

• Library and Information Services
• Centre for Teaching, Learning, and IT
• International Office
• Student Counselling Services
• Student Registry
• School of Humanities and Social Sciences

Kaffi Borg will be open on Monday, 30 December, from 10:00 to 14:00, offering a cafeteria-style service with fresh sandwiches and similar items (no hot meals or buffet). The Trausti shop will remain open while supplies last, with snacks accessible 24/7.

Staff and students will retain access to the university premises during the holidays as per their access rights.
