Tools and techniques supporting teachers and lecturers in distance learning

About the project

The project's objective is to enhance online teaching competencies among formal and non-formal education staff, especially university and high school teachers, through the use of digital tools.

Project Results:

We will develop 12 online courses in both Polish and English, covering:

  • Interactive teaching via “collaborative whiteboard” platforms
  • Effective online assessment techniques
  • Oxford-style debates for engaging distance learning
  • Building learning communities in online settings
  • Gamification strategies for interactive online courses
  • Monitoring student progress remotely
  • Conflict management tools for distance teaching

These courses will be refined following a comprehensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of distance education within the partner institutions.

Target Group:

Secondary school educators, university lecturers, trainers, and non-formal education staff proficient in Polish, Icelandic, or English will enhance their skills in modern distance teaching methodologies. They will also engage in course trials and contribute to the project’s dissemination.
